World's Champ at Mile Branch

WORLD’S CHAMPION TRACTOR AT MILE BRANCH GRANGE ON JUNE 1

Fans coming to the first ever USA-EAST Sanctioned Pulling event at the Mile Branch Grange Fairgrounds on Friday evening, June 1 will be in for a special high-powered treat. Dave Archer from Marietta, Ohio has confirmed that he will be on hand with the “Black Widow” Unlimited Modified Tractor. This is the five-engine behemoth that captured the 2011 NTPA Grand National Point championship in the Unlimited Modified division with Archer’s daughter, Kathy Archer Schalitz, doing the driving. The crown was won on the final hook of the season at the Canfield Fair in September of last year and the appearance of the champion at Mile Branch will be the first hook of 2012. The Archer Team will once again run the entire NTPA Grand National season with their “Black Widow” Modified Tractor.

The “Black Widow” is a specially built tube chassis that carries five super-charged Alan Johnson Drag Race Engines that run on pure alcohol. Each of the engines is capable of producing 1600 horsepower thus at full throttle the ear-splitting sound of over 8000 horsepower fills the air.

In addition to this awesome exhibition run at Mile Branch there will also be four USA-EAST Sanctioned pulling classes including the Super Farm Tractors and the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ Semi Trucks. Both Classic Super Stock Tractors and Open 2.6 Diesel 4×4 Trucks are scheduled for this first-time event on June 1 at 7:00pm.

USA-EAST is a division of Full Pull Productions, Inc. of Jamestown, Pennsylvania. Over the past years this sanctioning body has conducted the very successful pulling events at such eastern Ohio venues as the Columbiana County Fair, The Canfield Fair and the Bunker Hill Shoot-Out. Mile Branch Grange is destined to be another regular stop on the USA-EAST Pulling Circuit after 2012.
