The MAC Trailer Story
From Humble Beginnings to World-Class Manufacturing
Since he founded the company in 1994, Michael A. Conny has grown MAC Trailer Enterprises into a manufacturing leader. Conny started repairing trailers in a one-bay garage more than 30 years ago, and it was through hard work, strategic expansion and a dedication to customer-led solutions that the company continued to thrive. Today, we have employees and plants across the country, a family of trusted brands and a dedicated research and development facility.
Company Timeline
Early ‘90s
Conny started in the trailer-building industry but eventually decided to branch out on his own. With a small loan from his mother, he began doing wreck and repair work out of a one-bay garage.

1994
Conny used his trailer-building knowledge to start MAC Trailer, producing his first dump trailer in 1994.

2011
MAC Liquid Tank Trailer (MAC LTT) was launched in Kent, Ohio, and later expanded to a plant in Billings, Montana. Most recently, a third plant was opened in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

2013
MAC Trailer acquired Trailstar International, based in Alliance, Ohio, and continues to manufacture Trailstar dump trailers.
